Dear all,

Thank you all for visiting, reading and sharing the news with me on the Fukushima Appeal Blog. I’ve kept it running since February 2012. Unfortunately, I will need some break now to attend to some of my health issues.

I would like to thank this blog and its supporters for giving me an opportunity to become a part of the slowly awakening global community during this very important time of global change. I had zero knowledge of nuclear before the Fukushima disaster, and was and still am a just normal citizen. It’s been hard to see Japan becoming a criminal, immoral and authoritarian country since the Fukushima Disaster. So it’s been a huge awakening and healing process to have a platform to speak out instead of feeling powerless, angry and sad about it. With the new secret law that is going to be introduced in Japan soon, Japanese people will need more help than at any other time in its history from foreign bloggers, doctors and scientists. Please remember Fukushima. I hope that the more difficulties we may encounter, the stronger and connected we will become to fight against injustice and be able to act from our heart space. (Mia)

Fukushima - 2 years of continuous leaking of ioninzing radiation into the sea, No solution to stop it! 福島原発事故：海への放射能２年間漏れ続け。その対処策がない。

(1m30s) New York Times reported just today that  NRA (Nuclear Regulatory Authority) chief spokes person announced that leaks has been going on for the last 2 years into the ocean from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plants.   Recently much higher level, 100 times level of cesium, Strontium and Tritium than it's been previously seen in the groundwater near seaside and even in the ocean near just off shore.   NRA admitted that they don't know where those leaks occurring and don't know how to stop it.

(6m40s-)  High levels of cesium found in fish off Ibaraki
Researchers have found high levels of radioactive cesium in fish caught early this month off Hitachi in Ibaraki Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo.
Prefectural officials said 1,037 becquerels of cesium were discovered per kilogram of Japanese sea bass. That's more than 10 times the government safety limit.

As it says in the video USA (and EU including UK) is allowed to import food that contain ionizing radiation (up to 1200Bq/kg for cesium).  In Japan 100Bq/kg is a limit in food for cesium.  But 100Bq/k was used to be a limit for radioactive material in debris. It means anything contains ionizing radiation of more than 100Bq/kg were supposed to be dangerous.  Isn't that obvious that our body can't be suddenly ok with higher dose because there was a nuclear accident.  Before the Fukushima disaster Japanese rice only used to contain 0.1Bq/kg of ionizing radiation.  You should check where the origin of food and avoid processed food as much as possible because you wouldn't know where the origin of the food.
